Henao Rivers Flush

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

After a button raise, William Brindise re-raised to 3,000. Sebastian Toro made it 8,000 and was called by Brindise after the button folded.

The flop came 752, and Brindise check-called the 7,000 chip bet from Toro.

After the 8 turn, Brindise led out 11,000 and was called by Toro.

On the 3 river, Brindise checked, and Toro went all-in for the 48,000 in his opponent's stack. After some deliberation, Brindise made the call and was shown QJ, which was good.

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading 10939, Chance Kornuth bet 10,000 into a pot of around 15,000. Terry Fleischer check-raised to 30,000 and Kornuth played with his chips before shoving all in for around 55,000. Fleischer snapped him off and the cards were on their backs.

Kornuth was in a heap of trouble with two pair against the trip nines of Fleischer. The river was the A and Kornuth exited the tournament area while Fleischer stacked another pot.

"You've knocked out 15% of the field already," Erik Seidel chimed in from the other side of the table.

Gumz with a Lunch Reservation?

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Fabian Gumz
Fabian Gumz

On the very first hand, Fabian Gumz and Tsubasa Kamei were battling heads-up in the blinds. The board read 852J and Gumz led out with a bet of 10,000 into a pot of around nearly that much. Kamei called from the big blind and the 9 completed the board.

Gumz slid his entire stack of around 35,000 into the middle and Kamei sank into his chair. After deliberating for a couple of minutes, Kamei also put his stack in the middle to call. Gumz flipped over Q7 for complete air while Kamei showed 1010 as the lone pair to scoop the pot.

"As good of a start as you can get," another tablemate said.
