Lucas Reeves
Lucas Reeves

Lucas Reeves kicked things off in middle position with a raise of 1,300. Both blinds made the call to see a flop.

Fritz checked once again the Q turn, and Reeves fired another bet, this time 8,000, and Fritz made the call.

The 7 hit the river and Fritz checked, Reeves went all in for around 22,500 which Fritz called immediately. Reeves turned A2 for a pair of deuces but Fritz showed Q2 for two pair. Reeves was sent packing and Fritz boosted his stack.

Teusl Gets Paid with Kings After River Shove

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Jessica Teusl
Jessica Teusl

With about 4,000 in the pot and the board showing Q88, Eric Cloutier checked from middle position to Jessica Teusl in the cutoff. She fired a bet of 3,500, and Cloutier made the call.

The 5 hit the turn, and Cloutier checked again. Teusl kept the pressure on with a bet of 8,500, which Cloutier once more called.

On the 7 river, Cloutier checked a third time. Teusl didn’t hesitate to move all in for her remaining 20,600. Cloutier tanked for a while, clearly unsure, but eventually tossed in the call.

Teusl turned over KK for an overpair, and the dealer quickly mucked Cloutier’s hand. Curious, Teusl asked, “What did you have?” as she pulled in her doubl-up pot. Cloutier replied, “King-Queen.”

Nine High Like a... What?

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Robert Ashelm raised to 1,600 from under the gun and he was only called by Saleh Masoodian who defended from the big blind.

Ashelm continued for 1,800 on the 10A7 flop. Masoodian check-called, then both players checked the K turn and the 3 river.

First player to reveal his cards, Masoodian flipped over 98 for a missed straight draw and was waiting to see the winning hand. But to his surprise, Ashelm mucked his cards so Ashelm won this one with nine-high.
