Milgrom Doubles His Short Stack Through Deeb

Level 18

Shaun Deeb raised first to act and action folded to Nicolas Milgrom, who three-bet from the big blind. Deeb four-bet to put Milgrom all in and Milgrom called.

Milgrom drew one and then stood pat on the second and third draw, while Deeb drew one on every draw.

Deeb peeked down at his final draw, which turned out to be a Qx and then used it to scoop up his cards and send them into the muck — awarding Milgrom the double up.

Deeb was left with just 50,000 following the hand and was eliminated shortly thereafter.

Both players took one off on the final draw and Erdman check-called one last bet from Tsurikov, who tabled 8x5x4x3x2x. Erdman couldn't beat it and mucked — conceding the pot to Tsurikov.

Rakuss Dealt a Pat Eight

Three bets each went in before the first draw. On the first draw, Jong Lim drew one, Eduards Rakuss stood pat, and Adam Greenlee drew two. Rakuss bet after the draw and received two callers.

The second draw followed the same pattern of one, pat, two. Lim checked, Rakuss bet, Greenlee raised, and Lim went in the tank. He asked the dealer to spread the pot and stood up to take a closer look at the action. After a minute or so, he opted to fold and Rakuss called.

Rakuss remained pat and Greenlee drew one card. Rakuss checked and Greenlee flipped up 8x8x. Rakuss showed 8x7x6x4x2x and Lim sighed loudly.
