Cameron Wins with River Bet

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Lonny Weitzel limped from the button before Wesley Cameron limped from the small blind. Richard Jutte checked his option to send the three players to a flop.

Both Cameron and Jutte checked on the 1053 flop, and Weitzel fired 450,000. Cameron called to stay in the hand, and Jutte folded.

Both Cameron and Weitzel checked the 8 turn.

When the 9 river came, Cameron chose to bet 500,000, which resulted in a fold from Weitzel.

Frandsen Takes From Weitzel

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Lonny Weitzel raised from the hijack to 625,000 and was met with an all in from Richard Frandsen, amounting to 2,300,000. Weitzel made the call, and the players revealed their cards.

Richard Frandsen: 77 All in
Lonny Weitzel: A5

Frandsen was ahead, but the flop K42 gave Weitzel a world of outs.

The turn 9 kept Frandsen in the lead, and when the deck failed to provide an ace, three or spade on the 10 river, Frandsen collected his double up.

Edwin Huston Eliminated in 8th Place ($45,920)

Level 32 : 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Edwin Huston

Edwin Huston moved all in from under the gun for 1,700,000. Action folded to Damir Stefanic in the big blind, who took one look at his cards and made the call.

Edwin Huston: A7 All in
Damir Stefanic: AQ

Huston was at risk and dominated, but the 69K provided plenty of hope.

The turn 2 had no effect, prompting Huston to use his "one-time," hoping for a diamond or seven river.

Unfortunately for Huston, though, the river 2 sealed his fate, leading him to thank the players and say his goodbyes.

Four-Bet Does the Job

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Damir Stefanic raised from the button to 575,000, which was met by a three-bet to 1,300,000 from Lawrence Whyte in the big blind. Stefanic immediately announced he was all in, a bet totalling 9,375,000.

This sent Whyte into the tank, unsure of how best to proceed. He let his opponent know that he has a habit of running into pocket aces, and shortly after folded pocket nines face up.

A friendly gesture was extended from Stefanic to Whyte, as he showed him pocket kings, letting his opponent know he made a good fold.

Edwin Huston: QJ All in
Richard Jutte: K10

Whyte Wins with Aggression on Turn

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Lonny Weitzel raised from early position to 450,000 and was called in two spots by Richard Frandsen in the cutoff and Martin Kohler on the button.

The flop fanned out 283. Weitzel bet 375,000, and was called once again by both Frandsen and Kohler.

The K turn slowed down Weitzel, who checked. Frandsen bet 1,500,000, but Kohler wanted to play for more and raised it to 3,000,000. Frandsen gave it a quick thought before he folded, as did Weitzel.
