Queens Crack Kings

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The chips went in preflop between Bruce Carter and Daniel Gerard for a seven-figure pot with Gerard at risk.

Daniel Gerard: KKAll in
Bruce Carter: QQ

Gerard was in a dominant position heading into the runout, but the flop was unsightly for Gerard as it fanned out 44Q to give Carter a full house.

The 9 turn and the A river did not provide any relief for Gerard as he was sent to the exit.

Unfortunate Meseguer

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Antoine Meseguer moved all in from under the gun for 39,000, and only Gary Friedlander made the call.

Antoine Meseguer: AK All in
Gary Friedlander: AQ

Meseguer was at risk but had his opponent dominated, and things looked even more promising on the J26 flop.

The deck had other plans, though, as the Q turn fired Friedlander into the lead.

Meseguer needed to find a king or a club to stay alive, but the 8 river sealed his fate in unfortunate fashion and saw him heading towards the exit.

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Allan Berlowitz: 99All in
Gerald Paquette: 1010

Berlowitz needed help to stay in the tournament, but the runout of 7K8Q8 brought none and send him to the payout desk.

Quads Flop Peng Dead

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Yun Peng had moved his remaining stack of 170,000 into the middle, and only Armen Lalikian gave him action.

Yun Peng: 1010 All in
Armen Lalikian: KK

Peng had one foot out the door, and that was joined by the other foot when the dealer spread the KQK flop, meaning Peng was drawing dead.

The dealer completed the board with the mandatory 4 turn and 6 river, and Peng took his leave, heading towards the exit.
