How Does the Tag Team Work?

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Event #64: $1,000 Tag Team is certainly one of the most unique events in the WSOP calendar, and it has just gotten underway in the Paris Ballroom.

Rather than playing individually as one would in any other poker tournament across the globe, teams of two fill the hall, with one at the table and one away from it. Players may tag in and out as they please, however the competition does not come without some set rules that teams must adhere to.

Firstly, players are unable to swap positions during a hand. If one player starts a hand, it must be played out to completion before a teammate can take over. Secondly, there is no "I" in team! Each player must play for at least one orbit before late registration ends today after Level 8. Finally, players are unable to communicate during a hand, and may not sit together during play. The inactive player has to be beyond the rail unless switching.

Fancy playing? Registration must be made in person, so bring a friend on down to the cage before late registration closes at 8:00 p.m.
