Moreno Takes it Down

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Kristy Moreno of Team Moreno showed plenty of aggression in taking down a heads-up pot against Robert Foos of Team Foos. Moreno raised to 16,000 preflop, with Foos her only caller.

On all three streets, Foos checked it over, and Moreno opted for a continuation-bet of 16,000 on the 84Q flop. Foos called, and she sized up to 42,000 on the 6 turn. Foos called again, but he folded to the 60,000 river bet, after the J peeled off. Moreno's chip stack has now become the clear leader on her table.

The turn 5 saw a bet from Hendrix of 35,000 and a quick call from Gunness.

The river 2 brought a potential straight, and both players checked.

Gunness announced, "Ace-ten", but mucked when he saw Hendrix had flipped over QQ for a set.

Cody Daniels was at the table and joked, "Hey, is that how you got that stack, Adam, just flipping sets?"

Yuan Flops Another

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Adam Hendrix of Team Hamey had the action on him, and he opened with a raise to 13,000 from middle position. Yongqing Yuan of Team Xiao then ripped it in for 122,000 from the hijack, and action got back around to Hendrix. After some tank, he made the call.

Yongqing Yuan: 1010 All in
Adam Hendrix: AQ

Hendrix was flopped practically dead on 6310 and had already given the chips over to Yuan by the time the 72 runout was completed. Yuan let Hendrix know that she'd been flopping sets like they were going out of fashion recently, to which a stablemate pointed out, "You should've told him that before he called!"
