Bradley Moore raised to 1,400,000 from the small blind and Douglas Weymeersch defended his big blind.
Moore slowed down with a check when the flop fanned out 10♥9♥8♥ but called a bet of 1,150,000 from Weymeersch.
The turn paired with the 10♠ and Moore checked again but folded when Weymeersch pushed forward 1,475,000. Weymeersch flashed the J♠ before surrendering the pot.
Jesus Rodriguez raised to 3,000,000 from late position and was called by Yoon Kim, who only had 500,000 in his stack from the big blind and was at risk.
Yoon Kim: J♦4♥
Jesus Rodriguez: A♣10♥
The dealer ran out a board of 9♦3♠3♥J♠Q♥, keeping Kim's Hopes alive in Event #67
Samuel Concannon raised to 1,100,000 from middle position, and the action was folded to Robert Lau in the small blind who moved all in for 3,650,000. Concannon thought for a short while and made the call.
Robert Lau: A♠Q♠
Samuel Concannon: A♦5♠
Some danger for Lau on the 2♣3♣K♥ flop, which gave Concannon wheel outs. The turn was a safe K♦ and when the river bricked out with the 8♦, Lau scooped the pot and a much appreciated double-up.
Edgaras Gendvilis in early position moved all in for 4,225,000. Joshua Palmer in the cutoff raised all in for 4,400,000, and Manuel Reyes in the big blind said he had a good hand but folded.
Edgaras Gendvilis: K♥10♦
Joshua Palmer: A♦K♠
The board of 4♠9♦7♠8♥4♥ kept Palmer in the lead and Gendvilis was eliminated.
Chip leader Ken Takayama opened the action from early position with a raise to 1,200,000. He received two customers: Danny Mui called from the hijack, and Tefan Liu defended his big blind.
The three went off to a flop of J♦A♣10♣ and Liu checked to the aggressor, who chucked out another 1,200,000. Mui got out of the way, but Liu stuck around. The turn came the 6♦ and for the second street running Liu checked and Takayama bet. This time, the amount was 4,300,000. Liu made the call anyway.
The river 5♣ brought in the front door flush, and action checked through. Liu's K♥J♠ was no match Takayama's flopped set with J♣J♥ as he scooped in the pot to further increase his already dominant chip lead.
Santiago Trujillo raised to 1,000,000 in early position and when it folded to Wayne Irwin in the small blind, he declared all in and Trujillo was quick to snap.
"That was fast... that's maybe a bit much...", Irwin said, as he knew the bad news before Trujillo's cards were even on their back.
Wayne Irwin: 6♠6♦
Santiago Trujillo: A♠A♥
The board ran out J♥J♣4♥7♠Q♦, and Trujillo secured a massive pot. Irwin stuck around just long enough to confirm that he was covered and left the tournament area abruptly.
