Down to less than 10,000 in chips a level earlier, Gaurav Makkar's fortune has turned, with him knocking two players out of the tournament. Alexander Kartveli was the latest victim.

Kartveli went all in with the board already complete with 5♠7♦4♣6♥10♣ on display. Makkar made the call and showed 8♣5♦ for an eight-high straight.

The dealer inadvertently mucked Kartveli's hand without showing.

The action was joined with the flop reading 6♣5♥3♠ and the pot at around 12,000. Ciaran Duffy bet out for 10,000 only for Nicholas Verderamo to come over the top for 25,000, which put Duffy all in. This sent Duffy into the tank for two to three minutes before he made the call.

Keisling check-raised to 7,000 over Kim's continuation bet of 1,800. Kim then came over the top and reraised all in for 36,800 total to put himself at risk.

Keisling thought for a moment before reluctantly tossing his cards into the muck.

The flop came 4♥9♥9♦ and Hulme check-called a bet of 2,500 from Kodinov, bringing the 9♣ turn.

Hulme check-called again, this time for 8,500 and the river brought the K♠. Hulme checked for a third time and Kodinov moved all in for 23,000 to put himself at risk.

Hulme went into the tank, eventually flicking in the call and tabling A♠Q♥. Kodinov turned over A♣5♣ and the two chopped it.

The turn saw the 7♥ fall, and now Eskenazi check-called Fischer's 5,500 bet this time. Both players then checked the 8♠ river. Fischer tabled 9♣7♣ for second pair, which had Eskenazi's third pair with 6♠4♠ crushed, and he was sent the pot.
