After Punnat Punsri found himself down to just 60,000 chips, him and Phil Ivey got all of their chips in the middle preflop which turned out to be a coin flip.

Punnat Punsri: AJAll in
Phil Ivey: 22

The flop of Q43 left Ivey in the lead with his pocket deuces. The K on the turn gave Punsri some more outs but the 3 on the river was not one of them. Ivey picked up the opening round win and will take on Alex Foxen in the next round in a star-studded matchup.

Alan Keating
Alan Keating

A completed board of K8346 was spread across the felt with around 60,000 in the middle. Andrew Lichtenberger led out with a large bet of 80,000 on the river which sent Alan Keating into the tank. After using one of his time banks, Keating called and Lichtenberger was forced to show his A10. Keating whipped over 87 for a pair of eights and Lichtenberger was left on fumes.

"Time for the power limps," Lichtenberger said after the hand.

On the next hand, Lichtenberger limped in and Keating announced all in. Lichtenberger snapped off his last 13,000 and showed JJ which got a chuckled from Keating who revealed 107.

The flop came 1073 and Keating flopped two pair to take the lead. The 6 and 5 runout was no help to Lichtenberger who was eliminated and the two embraced after the match.

"What do I do now?" Keating asked. "I've never advanced before."
