Mammoth Pot Goes Arito's Way

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

[Removed:548] opened the action to 50,000 from early position. Marc Rivera then shoved on the button for 172,000. Yuya Arito cold-called from the small blind, and [Removed:549] called too.

The A55 checked through, before Arito bet 75,000 into an empty side pot on the K turn. [Removed:549] made the call, which brought in the A river. Arito continued for 150,000, and [Removed:549] shoved his covering stack. Arito couldn't have called any quicker, as he emphatically slammed his chips in and tabled AK for top boat. [Removed:549]'s smaller full house with A4 was no good, and Rivera's 66 sent him to the rail.

Sanchez Hits Ace to Stay in Contention

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The chips were all in preflop between David Sanchez and Michael Brinkenhoff, with Sanchez at risk for his tournament life.

David Sanchez: AKAll in
Michael Brinkenhoff: QQ

It was the classic race between Sanchez and Brinkenhoff as they went into the runout.

The J10A leaped Sanchez into the lead, but he was not out of the woods yet as Brinkenhoff could still hit a king for a straight.

The 7 turn was a safe card, and so was the 5 river to secure the double.

"Don't Do Anything Stupid, Jennifer"

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

"Don't do anything stupid, Jennifer," Martin Kabrhel in the big blind said while checking a flop of 10105.

Jennifer Harman in middle position checked back to discover the 4 turn where Kabrhel bet 65,000. Harman called.

After counting his stack, Kabrhel moved all in for 390,000 on the 5 river. Harman went into the tank and asked for the count but Kabrhel eventually called the clock.

It didn't take long after the floor arrived for Harman to fold. "Who called the clock," she just asked as Kabrhel was grabbing his chips.

Azoulay With an Early Double

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Jonathan Azoulay got his last 60,000 into the middle preflop with Venkat Chivukula making the call to try and bust him.

Jonathan Azoulay: KJ All in
Venkat Chivukula: QJ

Azoulay looked likely to double if his king-jack could hold. The board ran out AKJ9Q to give both players two pair, but Azoulay's two pair was better, earning him the double-up.
