Zulker Doubles Back into Contention

Level 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Michael Zulker opened to 1,400,000 from the button and Michael Wang potted from the big blind. Zulker, who started the hand with 4,700,000, called and was at risk.

The board ran out 2K2A7. Wang was ahead with nines on the flop but Zulker turned aces up and remained ahead on the river to secure the double up.

Both players checked the 5 turn leading to the A river. Zhou checked, Wang bet 1,800,000 and Zhou called.

Zhou had aces up with A974 but Wang had trips with QQJ5 to win the hand and close some of the distance between himself and Zhou.

Zulker Slowly Chipping Up

Michael Zulker limped in on the button with AJ42 and Quan Zhou checked his big blind with 10875. The flop came QJ4 to give both players a flush draw and Zhou started with a check. Zulker threw in a bet of 800,000 and Zhou just called.

The J paired the board on the turn which improved Zulker from two pair to a full house. Both players checked and the K completed the board. Zhou quickly checked again after bricking everything. Zulker counted out a bet of 1,000,000 and Zhou instantly slung his cards into the muck.

Zhou Makes Everything on the River
