Riess Wins an Odd One

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ryan Riess raised it up on the button and Phuoc Vo called from the big blind. The flop came K44 and both players checked through to the 5 on the turn and the 7 on the river.

Vo did something that looked like a check on the river which led to Riess throwing in a bet of 25,000 just ahead of Vo tossing in a bet of 11,000. It was ruled that Vo didn't check and his bet of 11,000 would stand with Riess having all of his options available. Riess chose to raise to 50,000 and Vo dumped his cards into the muck.

"He jammed into me on the river when I had the nuts," Anson Tsang said as he had just scored a full double against Jon Shoreman. The latter was then all-in for a single T-500 chip from the big blind and up against Sonny Franco in the small blind.

Jon Shoreman: AQQ6 All in

The A886J board gave Franco trips eights and that spelled the end for Shoreman.

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Multi ways to the 864 flop, the action checked to Phillip Mighall and he bet 7,500. Charles Sylvestre and Rami Boukai called to then see the 4 on the turn. Boukai checked once again, and Mighall now bet 15,500. Sylvestre folded, and Boukai called.
