Carmona Cracks Kings to Survive

Stewart Morrison

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Left with just one big blind after a previous encounter, Jorge Carmona found himself all in preflop versus Daniel de Almeida.

Jorge Carmona: 10♣8♣ All in
Daniel de Almeida: K♠K♣

The dealer fanned out a 7♣2♣4♣ flop, moving Carmona into the lead with a flopped flush.

The turn 2♠ gave De Almeida even more outs to catch up, but the 8♥ river was no help, and Carmona just about tripled his stack.
