Cruel Runner-Runner for Jaulain
Level 34
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Action folded to John Ishak in the small blind, who moved all in, covering Alexandre Jaulain’s stack of about 6,500,000. Jaulain called, creating a large pot and the following showdown:
Alexandre Jaulain: A♣K♥
John Ishak: A♠10♥
Jaulain was well ahead and strengthened his lead when the flop fell A♥K♦5♠, giving him top two pair. However, the 10♦ on the turn and the 10♠ on the river delivered a runner-runner full house for Ishak, sending Jaulain to the rail in dramatic fashion.
