Fred Goldberg raised to 1,600,000, and next to act, Andres Read called for less, all in for 1,200,000. The rest of the table got out of the way, and the players revealed their cards.

Read was flipping with the hope of keeping his deep run going, but the 2♠8♠9♥ left him with just two outs to stay alive.

The turn 9♠ improved Goldberg to trips, and the river 6♠ did not affect the outcome as Read vacated his seat and headed to the exit.

Action folded to Martin Kabrhel on the button, who elected to limp in. The small blind opted to fold, but Viktor Vladov, in the big blind, moved all in.

Kabrhel asked for the amount of the bet size, confirmed to be 11,500,000 before going into the tank. After a minute or two, he made the call, putting Vladov at risk.

Kabrhel was already ahead, but the flop 9♠9♣Q♣ was still a welcome sight, giving him to a flush draw.

The turn changed the landscape, though, coming the Q♥, which now meant the players were chopping the pot.

However, Vladov wasn't able to hold on for a chop, the river 2♣ improving Kabrhel to a flush, eliminating Vladov in the process.

Rene Majed raised from middle position to 1,600,000, and only Fred Goldberg called, defending his big blind.

Both players checked the 7♠7♦9♠ flop, prompting Goldberg to take over the betting lead on the 4♠ turn, putting out a bet of 1,200,000. Majed made the call, and the players moved to a river card.

The dealer flipped over the 10♠ river card, bringing four to a flush, and Goldberg opted to go for maximum pressure. Majed only had 6,300,000 in his stack, and Goldberg asked for it all, putting out a bet of 7,000,000.

Majed considered his options but ultimately chose to return his cards to the dealer.
