In the hand after Hye Park was eliminated, Marco Johnson raised to 84,000 on the button without a small blind in play. Steve Billirakis three-bet to 252,000 from the big blind and Johnson called after two minutes.

The flop was 10♦2♠2♣ and Billirakis continued for 127,000. Johnson then raised the pot. Billirakis, visibly a little unpleased, called the all-in for around 600,000 total.

Johnson had hit trips on the flop and Billirakis found himself in a deep hole. Neither the 10♣ turn nor 7♦ river turned it around for the man who briefly was the youngest bracelet winner ever back in 2007.

"Blood game, gentleman!" Daniel Negreanu said as an orbit of Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw began.

The carnage started right away as Jeff Madsen limped in from under the gun, leading Negreanu to joke that his new nickname should be "Jeff Limpiski."

"It doesn't really work with Madsen, though," commented Robert Mclaughlin.

"It's not supposed to," countered Negreanu.

Bariscan Betil called on the button and Negreanu checked in the big blind. Negreanu drew two, Madsen drew one and Betil drew two.

Negreanu checked after the first draw and Madsen bet 78,000. Betil called and Negreanu folded. Madsen stood pat and Betil drew one.

Madsen bet 143,000 after the second draw and Betil raised to 345,000. Madsen called as both players stood pat.

Madsen checked after the final draw and Betil bet 575,000 to send Madsen into a five-minute tank. Negreanu eventually called the clock and Madsen let his hand die to surrender the sizable pot to Betil.

Robert Mclaughlin raised to 120,000 from under the gun and Marco Johnson three-bet to 220,000 from the next seat. Mclaughlin called with just 60,000 behind and got it in as the flop landed 2♣Q♣10♥.

Aaron Kupin raised to 100,000 from under the gun, which saw Daniel Negreanu in the hijack, Marco Johnson in the small blind, and Bariscan Betil in the big blind all call.

The flop rolled out 4♠6♥J♣, and action checked around to Negreanu, who bet 300,000, and only Betil folded.

On the turn 8♥, Johnson bet the pot of 1,340,000, which quickly folded out Kupin, and Negreanu went into the tank.

"I was going to do that," said Negreanu as he tossed his hand into the muck, ceding the pot over to Johnson.

Betil checked on the flop of 7♣4♣10♣ and folded when faced with a bet from Madsen. As the hand played out, Johnson told the table he was missing the Main Event this year because the final table will conflict with his daughter's birthday.
