Jansen Breaks Correctly and Draws Best

Level 13

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

After the first draw, Jacob Babins checked from the big blind to Bradley Jansen on the button who bet 10,000 in a single-raised pot, and Babins called.

Babins took one before Jansen stood pat, and the action checked through.

Babins now stood pat and Jansen took a moment before he opted to break what he later said was a nine as he took one card. Babins led for 19,000 and Jansen quickly called.

Jacob Babins: 8x7x4x3x2x
Bradley Jansen: 8x6x4x3x2x

Babins made number ten but it was no good against the number six of Jansen, as he made the correct decision to break and caught the eight to make the winner.

Wheely Good Start For Bach

Level 13

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Marco Johnson opened from under the gun and was called by David Bach in the small blind.

Both took two as Bach checked to Johnson. He continued for 13,000 before Bach check-jammed for 62,500 and Johnson called.

Bach was now pat while Johnson took one.

Johnson still needed one on the final draw, but there was no need as Bach tabled 7x5x4x3x2x for the wheel as Johnson was drawing dead and Bach collected the full double.

Claassen Gets Aces Cracked

Level 13

Pot-Limit Omaha

Christopher Claassen raised to 6,500 from under the gun and Yosuke Miki potted in the big blind. Claassen four-bet all in for around 80,000 and Miki quickly called.

Christopher Claassen: AAJ3 All in
Yosuke Miki: AA104

Both players had aces but the flop of J82 was bad news for Claassen as Miki picked up a flush draw. THe 5 turn sealed the deal and the 7 river was a formality as Claassen was sent to the rail in painful fashion.
