Hatmaker Gone, Ahmadi Takes Hit

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Casey Hatmaker got it all in for just 12,000 from the cutoff, and both blinds, Phillip Lowery and Nick Ahmadi, made the call.

The KAK flop checked through, before Ahmadi led for 13,000 on the 8 turn. Lowery called, allowing the Q to peel off on the river. Action checked through again, and Hatmaker tabled 44 immediately. What had started off as the best hand preflop had been downgraded to the worst postflop, as Lowery's AJ took it down, and Ahmadi's 108 lost out.

Two short stacks went to war preflop, as Marion Decout and Daniel Hayden got it in, hoping to find some life in the deepstack championship.

Marion Decout: A5 All in
Daniel Hayden: 1010

Hayden was up in arms as the AJ8 flop fired his opponent way out in the lead, but he did manage to pick up some more life as the Q rolled off on the river. He managed to get into Broadway through the back door with the K river, ending Decout's run.

Godard Rivers the Better Full House

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nicolas Godard started the action with an 8,000 raise and got a three-bet from Adam Taskinsoy on the button to 22,000. Godard responded by getting all his green 25,000 chips worth 250,000 and jamming it in the middle of the table, effectively putting Taskinsoy all in. Unbothered, Taskinsoy called putting his tournament life on the line.

Adam Taskinsoy: JJ All in
Nicolas Godard: AK

Taskinsoy lead was sustained on the flop of 996. With another 9 on the turn improving Taskinsoy's hand to nines full of jacks. Almost at the finish line, Godard did an upset when the A fell on the river, giving Godard the better full house.

The whole table groaned with the results but Taskinsoy just quietly left the table.
