Rollman Takes the Family Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Michael Wagner limped from early position and Brian Hartner called from middle position. There were five more calls, with nearly everyone on the table taking part in the preflop action. Daniel Rollman called from the hijack, Roberto Germino from the cutoff, Younes Ben-Iken on the button and both the blinds, Jason Wheeler in the small and Jose Rivera in the big blind.

The 569 flop saw the blinds check as did Wagner, with Hartner betting 1,200 from middle position. There were only two calls, Rollman from the hijack and Wheeler in the small blind.

The J was turned. Wheeler and Hartner checked. Rollman bet out 3,000 which was enough for him to see two folds and take the family pot.

Saleh Saved by Set

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Syed Saleh found himself all in and at risk preflop, as he had run into the big slick of Mike Vander Veer.

Syed Saleh: 44 All in
Mike Vander Veer: AK

It seemed like showers for Saleh, as the 10K5 had him up and out of his chair. He repositioned himself upon seeing the 6 turn, as he picked up additional outs. In the end, he used one that had been there from the start, as the 4 river doubled him up, almost back to starting stack.

Reyes Flopped it Again!

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Min So opened from the cutoff to 800 and Manuel Reyes defended the big blind.

Reyes bet to 1,300 on the 9Q10 flop. So called.

The 9 turn saw Reyes bet again to 5,000. So didn't go anywhere and made another call.

Reyes moved 8,000 into the middle on the 2 river and got a quick call from So.

Reyes showed J8 for the straight which he had made on the flop, and So mucked his hand.

Ali Ayub commented "Nice hand," and the pair shared some table talk, with Ayub recalling how only a few hands earlier in the tournament Reyes had won another big pot having flopped the best hand.
