Nahum Blasts Off Then Blasts Off

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Ivan Ruban
Ivan Ruban

Action was picked up preflop, with Ivan Ruban having placed in a three-bet from the small blind, to 200,000. Kfir Nahum, the original raiser, called from the hijack.

On a flop of 10K7 Ruban opted for a small continuation-bet, deciding that 100,000 was the correct size. Nahum made the call. The turn brought in the 10 which checked through, and Ruban checked again on the K river. Nahum quickly announced "all in," and Ruban read him like a book, snapping him off.

"Oh, come on!" Nahum shouted, standing up and launching his cards towards the dealer rather than tabling them. One bounced up, and the J was shown. Ruban turned over JJ and won the pot as well as the chip lead, as his stack rose to over a huge 5,000,000 chips, good for 200 big blinds.

Chiovaro Makes Painful Call

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Stephen Chiovaro took a very long time considering whether he wanted to make the call of Jeremy Felicetti's all-in.

The two players had almost identical stacks, 1,030,000 for Chiovaro, 1,025,000 for Felicetti.

With the board reading A5Q42, Chiovara didn't make his decision until the clock had been called and less than 10 seconds remained before his hand was to be declared dead by the tournament director.

He called.

Chiovera showed A2, having hit two pair on the river. Felicetti turned over 55, a flopped set of fives and the winner.

No Help Came For Proctor

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Tanner Martinelli opened to 60,000 from the hijack, and Nick Ahmadi moved all in for around 350,000 from the small blind. Donald Proctor called off his entire 130,000 stack, putting him at risk of elimination, and Martinelli folded.

Donald Proctor: AJAll in
Nick Ahmadi: QQ

Proctor needed to pick up on the board, but the 64K flop didn't bring in much hope.

A small straight sweat came in on the 10 turn, but that faded by the 7 river.
