Action was picked up on a flop of 3♣J♥9♦ with three players holding hole cards. Caleb Levesque had bet out for 125,000 when checked to, and received a call from both Jorge Dominguez and Chunhui Ji.
On the 4♥ turn, Ji checked for a second time, and Levesque bet for a second time, but this time it was for 450,000. Dominguez started cutting out chips and playing with them before moving all in. Ji snap folded, and Levesque snap called.
Jorge Dominguez: A♠A♣
Caleb Levesque: Q♣Q♠
Levesque couldn't find a queen on the river, as it came the 9♣.
Action was picked up as two players were all in; Berkeley Yuan in the small blind for 1,075,000, and Daniel Schill in the big blind with a slightly bigger stack.
Berkeley Yuan: Q♠Q♦
Daniel Schill: A♣J♣
The board ran out with 10♣K♥2♦3♦A♦, and the ace on the river was a score for Schill with his pair of aces.
Nicolas Godard opened from late position and Berkeley Yuan moved all in for around 1,000,000 from the cutoff. Godard snap called and the players flipped their cards.
Berkeley Yuan: A♣K♠
Nicolas Godard: A♥A♦
There was no real sweat on the 4♦8♥Q♣10♦9♣ runout and Godard got to add more to his chip leading stack.
Thomas Henager bet the hand from the jump, beginning with a raise to 140,000 in middle position. Both the blinds, Andrew Dean (small) and Lucas Cortijo (big) made the call.
The flop J♥6♠A♠ drew checks from Dean and Cortijo, but Henager fired 350,000 into the pot. Dean bailed, but Cortijo called.
Henager bet 500,000 on the turn Q♠, drawing a check-raise from Cortijo to 1,400,000.
Without hesitation, Henager moved all in. Cortijo folded and Henager took it down.
After action was passed to the button, Karl Pineault bet 265,000 on the turn of a board of Q♠10♦5♦A♣ and a pot of 500,000. Xizhe Yuan, his heads-up opponent, called to see the last card.
The river 7♣ got another check from Yuan. Pineault stared at Yuan, considering his options. He took his time to decide what to do but decided to bet 375,000 in the pot. It was Yuan's turn to think. After a while, he called.
Pineault tabled 10♣10♠ looking directly at Yuan. Yuan tapped the table to indicate it was good and mucked his hand. Visibly relieved, a smile spread across Pineault's face. He claimed that he had to think carefully how much to bet, finding the balance between a callable bet and a painless amount he can get away from in case Yuan shoved.
All in all, Pineault was quite satisfied with how the hand played out as he scooped the pot.
Darragh Smith open-shoved in the cutoff for just 205,000 chips. Ryan Pinkerton made the call from the small blind, and the two were off to a runout, with Smith just one elimination away from making a pay jump.
Darragh Smith: 6♦9♦
Ryan Pinkerton: K♥10♠
It was a rollercoaster ride for Smith, who had the worst of it preflop, but the best of it post, as he hit a pair on the 5♦Q♠6♥ flop. He was then behind yet again following the K♣ turn, which put his opponent back in the lead. However, it would be Smith to come out on top, as the miracle 6♣ river kept him alive.
