Rowland Three Bets for the Win

Kevin Rowland under the gun opened for 26,000 and got Wiktor Pretczynski in cutoff, and Thomas Watson in the big blind to call.

All three saw a flop of 4♥2♥2♠. Rowland continued with a 21,000 bet after a check. Pretczynski raised to 66,000, pushing Watson out of the pot. Keeping control, Rowland three-bet to 195,000.

Pretczynski took one second before making the fold and surrendering the pot to Rowland.

Li bet 18,000 after a check from Tachibana. Tachibana picked up the chips for a call but hesitated putting it in the middle. Finally, he called, then mucked his hand after seeing Li table A♣10♥.

Christian Cheng found himself a nice spot, as he picked up a suited connector on the button, and shoved for 52,000. Christopher Dupuy was in the big blind, and mulled over his decision before deciding that he was getting the right odds, as he made the call.

It was Cheng who had the odds with him, however they flipped on the 4♠3♣2♣ flop, as Dupuy hit the nuts, leaving his opponent drawing to the most unlikely of chops. Cheng's two pair on the 3♦J♦ runout meant nothing.

Todd Collins limped from the hijack and Gennadiy Dvosis called from the small blind. Robert Champion defended the big blind and the players went three-ways to the flop.

It was checked around on the 9♣10♦Q♥ flop to see the 10♣ turn.

Dvosis bet 17,000 and only Collins called.

The 6♦ came on the river and Dvosis bet 27,000. Collins raised to 75,000 and Dvosis took some time before finding a call.

Collins showed K♦J♥ for a straight which he had made on the flop, Dvosis mucked.

Prasad Vemulapalli opened up the action from the hijack, as he raised it up to 28,000. Bryan Ho ripped for 220,000 after peeling his cards in the big blind, and Vemulapalli made the call, as the two battled it out in "El Clásico."

The flop kept equities almost even, as 7♦4♦6♦ gave Vemulapalli a whole host of new outs. He hit one on the 3♦ turn, leaving his opponent drawing to a single out for a chop. A player at the table did call for it, but the 10♥ river didn't help, as the remaining players all commented on just how well Vemulapalli was running.

"Running purer than angel dust," one added, as Vemulapalli nears the 200 big blind mark.
