It is unknown exactly how, but Shaun Deeb was back down to just 2,300,000, and got them all into the middle against the chip leader, Isaac Haxton.

The flop of 9♥3♣3♦ was good for Deeb, but the A♦ turn gave Haxton flush and straight outs. However, the Q♥ river was safe for Deeb and he survived again.

Phil Hellmuth said months ago he would boycott the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Many poker fans on social media, upon seeing video of his grand entrance on Thursday, are probably wishing he'd stuck to his original plan.

The "Poker Brat" traditionally arrives fashionably late for the $10,000 buy-in World Championship event he won in 1989. He showed up about five hours after play began on Day 1b, dressed like a 1980s hair band rockstar, full glam metal hairstyle and all.

Arthur Morris raised to 1,500,000 from the small blind, and Shaun Deeb defended his big blind. The flop came out 3♦6♥K♣ and Morris led out for 2,000,000. Deeb jammed to put Morris all in, and Morris called for his 7,725,000 total.

Morris had top set against the gutshot of Deeb. The 6♦ turn gave Morris a boat and the double-up, as an irrelevant 2♣ rolled off on the river.

With K♣Q♦9♣7♥, Isaac Haxton made it 1,200,000 from the cutoff and Lautaro Guerra defended his big blind holding Q♠8♥7♠7♣.

The dealer spread out a flop of Q♣5♦J♠ and Guerra checked. Haxton checked behind to see the 10♣ land on the turn. Guerra checked, then folded after Haxton bet 2,300,000.

During the Main Event coverage, Isaac Haxton had moved into a commanding chip lead with 41,175,000, while Shaun Deeb was down to just five big blinds.

The action was picked up with Deeb being all-in preflop for his last 2,900,000 and Arthur Morris making the call to try and bust him.

Arthur Morris: 10♦9♦8♦6♣

Deeb needed his kings to hold or he would finish just outside the podium positions. The board ran out 3♦K♥4♣9♥A♥ to give Deeb the winner with a set of kings.

Shaun Deeb limped with the A♣K♠9♥2♣ on the button and Lautaro Guerra did so out of the small blind with the K♣10♣6♦4♠. Isaac Haxton in the big blind raised to 2,000,000 with A♥K♥Q♥8♠ and Deeb was the only caller to see the 5♠4♥4♣ on the flop. What followed was a bet of 750,000 by Haxton and Deeb stuck around to the 4♦ on the turn.

Both players now opted to check and the 2♦ followed on the river.
