Shaun Deeb made it 500,000 to go and Lautaro Guerra three-bet the pot to 1,850,000 on the button. Both blinds folded and Deeb called to then check the 9♦8♣5♦ on the flop. Guerra announced pot once more and that bet of 4,200,000 forced out Deeb.
Sean Rafael raised the pot to 850,000 on the button and Isaac Haxton called in the big blind, while Rafael already cut out his remaining chips and mentioned he had 1,625,000 behind. On the A♥2♠2♣ flop, Haxton check-called for 250,000 and they checked the 5♥ on the turn.
Haxton then bet the 7♥ river for 2,000,000 and Rafael called after a few seconds of consideration.
Haxton announced a straight and revealed the Q♠10♦4♣3♦ for the wheel. Rafael briefly exposed his A♠K♣J♠10x before they were mucked instantly and then headed to the rail. His seventh place comes with $419,563 as consolation, while Haxton moved back to the top spot.
Isaac Haxton limped in from under the gun and Phil Ivey raised to 1,100,000 in the cutoff. Everyone behind folded to Haxton, who opted to call and check the K♠8♣3♦ flop. Ivey jammed for 2,600,000 and won the pot uncontested.
One year you're the chip leader on Day 1b of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, the next you're barely making it past "shuffle up and deal."
That's George Dolofan's story after going from first to first out the door. The Floridian was a quick elimination from the 2025 edition of poker's World Championship event, 12 months after bagging the biggest stack in the same flight.
Lautaro Guerra made it 850,000 to go from the cutoff with Isaac Haxton calling on the button. Shaun Deeb squeezed the pot to 3,400,000, which got both Guerra and Haxton to fold.
On the next hand, Arthur Morris opened the button to 625,000 before Phil Ivey three-bet to 2,625,000 from the big blind. Morris immediately potted it back to put Ivey all in.. Ivey, who has no time extensions remaining, folded and surrendered the pot to Morris.
Lautaro Guerra raised the pot to 850,000 from under the gun and scooped the blinds, Alex Foxen then did so from the button.
Shaun Deeb made it 500,000 to go from an early position thereafter and Phil Ivey three-bet the pot to 1,850,000 in the next seat. It folded back to Deeb and he called, then checked the 8♦5♥4♣ flop. Ivey moved all-in for 2,400,000 and Deeb folded.
Foxen then potted to 850,000 once more and Arthur Morris came along from the big blind, putting on the hood while wearing shades already. The K♠8♥4♣ flop saw Morris with the check, Foxen continued for 525,000 and Morris called. Both checked the 5♥ turn and Morris led the 3♣ on the river for 2,400,000.
Foxen called without using a time bank but folded when he was shown the Q♦Q♣7♣6♦ for the nut straight by Morris.
Shaun Deeb raised the button to 500,000 and only Alex Foxen called from the big blind.
Both players checked to the river on a runout of K♣7♦10♦Q♣5♣ before Foxen bet 475,000. Deeb thought for a while and then raised to 2,550,000. Foxen burned through a time bank before flicking in the call.
Deeb showd a bluff with A♣9♥5♥Xx, and lost the pot to Foxen's A♥6♥5♦5♠ for just a rivered set of fives.
In the first hand of the final day, Arthur Morris limped in from the small blind and Shaun Deeb checked to the A♦10♠6♠ flop. Morris had not bet yet and was in the motion of doing so when Deeb had already folded.
Deeb then limped the next small blind and Phil Ivey checked his option from the big blind. Deeb check-called the Q♠J♦6♠ flop for 500,000 and led the A♣ turn for 1,300,000, which Ivey called.
On the 10♣ river, Deeb bet another 2,050,000 with four to a straight now on the board. Ivey used three time bank extensions before tossing in a single chip for a call but couldn't beat the K♠K♣Q♣9♦ for broadway by Deeb.
