Alex Foxen raised to 1,400,000 in the cutoff and was called by Isaac Haxton on the button. The flop came 3♦3♥2♣ and Foxen continued for 1,100,000, Haxton called after brief consideration.

The A♠ followed on the turn and Foxen pondered about the next move before he made it 900,000 to go, picking up another call by Haxton prior to the 9♣ river.

Foxen checked and Haxton bet 5,000,000, which covered the remaining 4,500,000 of Foxen. The latter went deep into the tank and eventually called it off.

Haxton had held the preflop lead and made aces and nines on the river to see Foxen call it off after a long tank to bow out in sixth place for $539,917.

Arthur Morris limped from under the gun with K♣Q♠Q♣3♦ and Shaun Deeb also limped holding A♠Q♥K♦5♠. Lautaro Guerra raised to 2,000,000 from the big blind with A♦J♠J♥10♦. Morris and Deeb called.

With 6,800,000 in the middle, Guerra led out for the pot on the A♥9♣8♠ flop. Morris quickly folded, but Deeb took a little time before folding, and surrendering the pot to Guerra.

Phil Ivey limped the button with 10♦9♣8♠8♣ before Alex Foxen completed with Q♠6♠6♦2♥ from the small blind, and Lautaro Guerra checked his option holding A♣J♦9♠6♥ from the big blind.

The flop of 5♥10♣2♠ came out and Foxen checked. Guerra bet 600,000, and because Ivey had run out of time banks, his hand was declared dead before he acted. Foxen folded, and Guerra picked up the pot.

Isaac Haxton limped in with the 8♥8♣7♠7♦ and Arthur Morris raised to 1,800,000 with the K♠K♥10♥9♣. Phil Ivey gave it some thought with the 10♦9♦8♠7♥ out of the small blind and Haxton made it three ways.

The flop came A♦2♣2♥ and it checked to the Q♦ on the turn, on which all knuckled the table once more. Morris made broadway with the J♣ river and Ivey checked. Haxton bet 1,800,000 and Morris called while Ivey folded, after which Haxton declared "I have a pair of eights" before the chips were sent to Morris.

Ivey jammed for 350,000 on the Q♥5♦3♥ flop. Guerra raised the pot, which forced Morris to fold K♠J♣10♥9♣.

Ivey had a pair of eights and needed to fade a lot of outs to survive. The 7♦ turn gave Ivey a straight, but he still needed to avoid a heart on the river. The 7♣ rolled off on the river, and Ivey secured the much-needed double-up.

In the 904th episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Kyna England, and Mike Holtz are joined by Grosvenor Poker Pro Jamie Nixon at Level 9 Studio in Las Vegas to talk about the latest from the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP). That includes the WSOP's controversial decision regarding the alleged Millionaire Maker chip dumping between Jesse Yaginuma and James Carroll, which may or may not include lifetime bans. It's a lively debate that examines the situation from multiple angles, including the likely involvement of the Nevada Gaming Commission.

They then take a look at a controversial hand posted by Lexy Gavin-Mather where a dealer error that may have brought a much-needed seven out of the muck had the poker world talking. From there, the trio highlight the historic win by Shiina Okamoto, who successfully defended her Ladies Event title after finishing runner-up three years ago. She also had to put up with Phil Hellmuth Jr., for better or worse, as the crew debated. That wasn't the only historic win, as Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi won the prestigious $50,000 Poker Players Championship for an unbelievable fourth time. Toss in the first gold bracelet won by Darren Elias, and there were some big winners to be celebrated.

Jamie Nixon then talks about Grosvenor Poker and the upcoming Goliath in Coventry, how his buddy is running a daily bracket of funny poker names, and then Chad explains why there's a giant cutout of Espan Jorstad's head on the set (Hint: it came from the recent GTOWizard party).

Alex Foxen limped the small blind and Lautaro Guerra then potted to 900,000 for Foxen to come along.

The J♣5♠3♠ flop saw Foxen check and subsequently check-call 800,000 as they headed to the 6♣ on the turn. Foxen checked again and Guerra asked for the size of the pot to then bet 4,200,000. They double checked the pot then, and it was 3,700,000 total which Guerra bet.

Foxen used one time bank and then folded.
