Gerritse Straight Out of Bullet Number Two
Soon after losing a big portion of his stack, Dirk Gerritse was all-in and at risk preflop and Stephen Chidwick also ended up at risk for 171,000 with both being looked up by Arthur Morris.
Dirk Gerritse: A♦6♠2♠2♦
Stephen Chidwick: J♦J♥6♥4♣
Arthur Morris: A♣K♠7♣6♣
The 7♦5♣3♥9♠K♥ board gave Chidwick a straight on the flop to double through Morris and knock out Gerritse. What followed was a special pep talk by Jared Bleznick.
"How do you do this? This is sick, jack jack six four he goes all-in and wins every tournament ... this is a horrible hand, I am trying to help you man because I have a bet on you," Jared Bleznick told Chidwick while grabbing the winning hand. Prior to the dinner break, Bleznick had started some side bets on who the winner might be against several other of the participants.
