Haxton Takes From Dam

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With the flop showing 1043, Isaac Haxton bet 23,000 and Martin Dam called to see the 7 on the turn go check, check. The K river brought no betting action either as Dam checked behind and Haxton said "I got it" before tabling the KKQ10 for the king-high flush.

"Can you beat kings?" Haxton asked.

Dam replied, "I had a flush too."

While the hand played out, Jesse Lonis had taken a seat at the same table.

Cowen Wins a Multi-Way Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Farid Jattin made it 7,000 from the hijack with Eelis Parssinen calling from the cutoff, Dylan Weisman calling from the button, and Robert Cowen defending his big blind.

Everyone checked the 9610 flop to see the Q appear on the turn. Cowen bet 25,000, which only Weisman called.

The 4 appeared on the river and Cowen fired out 65,000. Weisman folded and forfeited the pot to Cowen.

Pärssinen Takes From Haxton

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a single-raised pot to the JJ9 flop, Eelis Pärssinen check-raised from 4,000 to 17,000 against Isaac Haxton and the latter called.

Pärssinen bet the 3 turn for 36,000 to receive a call and they then checked the 8 on the river. Pärssinen revealed the AJ52 for trip jacks and that won the pot.

"Welcome to the Table"

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Lautaro Guerra
Lautaro Guerra

Lautaro Guerra opened to 7,000 and was called by Isaac Haxton as well as Robert Cowen. The AAK flop was checked to Guerra, who bet 7,000 and Cowen was the only caller.

That led them to the 10 turn on which Cowen check-called for 30,000 and checked the 2 on the river. Guerra now asked for the size of the pot which happened to be 127,000, and bet just shy of that for 125,000. Cowen clicked in calling chips but could not beat the AK76 for aces full of kings by Guerra.

"Welcome to the table," Dylan Weisman joked.

Haxton Flops a Boat vs Cowen

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

Isaac Haxton made it 7,000 to go from the cutoff before Robert Cowen three-bet to 21,000 from the button. When it got back to Haxton, he put in the call.

Haxton checked the 1010J flop, and Cowen bet 14,000. Haxton slid in the call.

The K fell on the turn and Haxton knuckled the action over to Cowen. Cowen bet again, this time for 54,000. Haxton took a few moments and then tossed in the call.

Both players checked the 2 river, and Haxton flipped over J1097 for a flopped boat. Cowen couldn't beat it, and Haxton pulled in the pot

Slow Start and Some Chatter

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Laszlo Bujtas won the first two hands without showdown and Dylan Weisman then limped in, as did Isaac Haxton in the small blind for Robert Cowen to check out of the big blind. On the 652 flop they all checked and Haxton's bet of 4,000 on the 4 turn won the pot.

Bujtas then raised to 6,000 and Haxton called on the button as did Cowen in the small blind. The K76 flop was checked to Haxton, who bet 4,000 to win the next pot without resistance.

While the small pots were traded, Ronald Keijzer and Weisman were discussing possible side bets and the outcome of the Landmark satellite yesterday. Keijzer said that nine players had won their entry including Farid Jattin, Fahredin Mustafov, and Arthur Morris.

Keijzer jokingly guessed what player might be annoyed by having missed out on the ticket and mentioned Martin Dam in particular.
