Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Sean Rafael raised from middle position to 350,000 and was called by Shaun Deeb in the hijack and Bryce Yockey in the big blind.

Yockey checked the 8Q3 flop before Rafael fired 1,200,000. Deeb responded with an all-in. Yockey folded before Rafael made the call to put Deeb at risk.

Shaun Deeb: QJ109All in
Sean Rafael: AK53

Deeb held top pair and inside straight draws, but Rafael was threatening with a flush draw. Rafael was unable to improve on the 4 turn and the 7 river to award Deeb the pot.

Lou Garza
Lou Garza

Lou Garza kissed his chips for good luck before he put in his last 90,000 from the button. Bryce Yockey called the big blind amount out of the small blind before Alex Foxen opted to raise from the big blind. Before Foxen could get out his chips, Yockey folded and sent Garza and Foxen to a showdown.

Lou Garza: AK55All in
Alex Foxen: KK96

Garza needed help to overcome Foxen's kings. The flop of Q410 gave Garza a straight draw, but the board finished with the 2 on the turn and the 2 on the river to signal an end to Garza's tournament run. Garza received $200,000 for his 18th-place finish.

After the bubble had burst, Christopher Frank raised the pot to 350,000 from under the gun and was called only by Arthur Morris in the big blind. The flop came A95 and Morris checked, Frank pushed all-in for around 500,000 and was quickly called.

Arthur Morris: A773

The 10 on the turn improved Morris to the ace-high flush and Frank now needed to pair the nine or five to avoid elimination. Instead, the river brought the 4 and Frank became the first casualty in the money for $200,000.

Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

With Benny Glaser forced all-in from the big blind for 95,000, Sean Rafael limped the button before Tomas Ribeiro raised it to 400,000 from the small blind. Rafael folded, and the cards were revealed with Glaser at risk.

Benny Glaser: K1042 All in
Tomas Ribeiro: AAK9

Ribeiro, who had been raising every hand, woke up with a premium. Glaser managed to flop a pair on the 10J7 flop. The 10 turn put Glaser in the lead with trip tens, but the 8 river gave Ribeiro a flush, meaning Glaser was the bubble boy of the tournament.

The remaining 19 players all rejoiced in celebration of locking up at least a cash of $200,000.

Airball Survives Thanks to the River

Level 17 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Nik Airball
Nik Airball

Isaac Haxton raised to 350,000 on the button before Nik Airball three-bet to 1,100,000 from the big blind with just 40,000 behind. Haxton made the call.

Airball committed the remainder of his stack on the 685 flop, and Haxton quickly called.

Nik Airball: AKK2 All in
Isaac Haxton: KJ95

Airball was ahead with kings and a flush draw, but Haxton had some outs with two cards to come. The 9 turn put Haxton in the lead with two pair, and Airball was one card away from elimination. However, the 8 rolled off to counterfeit Haxton's two pair, and meant Airball doubled with a pair of kings.

Lou Garza, who is one of the shortest stacks in the tournament, let out a sound of disappointment at Airball staying alive.

Airball responded by jokingly shouting, "Lou, you motherf**ker, cheering at watching me die. I need this money!"

Haxton and Guerra Continuing to Battle on Bubble

Level 17 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

As hand-for-hand play continues, Lautaro Guerra and Isaac Haxton have been playing pots against each other — just as they did before the dinner break.

In the first hand, Haxton raised to 250,000 under the gun. That was met by a three-bet by Guerra to 850,000. Haxton called

The flop came AQ9. Guerra bet 900,000, and Haxton folded.

In the very next hand, Guerra raised on the button to 300,000. Haxton called on in the big blind.

Both players checked the flop of J97, the Q turn and A river. Haxton turned over AK66, and that was good for the win.
