Around 50,000 was in the middle as Mark Roland, Matthew Schreiber, and Thomas Taylor went to a flop of 10♦7♥2♥. Roland then moved all in for 33,000 from the small blind and Schreiber reshoved under the gun. Taylor called for his last 80,000.

"Or running diamonds," Roland added, but he and Taylor missed the 9♣ river as Schreiber took down the pot to score the double knockout.

Three-handed on a flop of 5♥7♣6♥, Travis Erdman bet from the button and Norman Chad folded in the big blind, while Benny Glaser came along and called from the cutoff.

The turn was the 5♦ and Glaser led out with a bet. Erdman called to the 4♦ river, where Glaser bet again.

Erdman spent a few minutes in the tank but eventually gave up his hand as Glaser took down the pot.

Action was picked up to the Q♥8♠7♦ flop in a hand between Jonathan Morrell from the hijack, Yuval Bronshtein in the cutoff, and James Obst in the big blind with around 19,000 in the middle.

Morrell led for 16,000 and only Bronshtein called.

On the 6♣ turn, Morrell jammed for 35,000 and Bronshtein flicked in a chip to call.

Eichhorn then drew two and Hellmuth one. Eichhorn bet and Hellmuth called as both players drew one. Hellmuth then checked to Eichhorn.

"I'm not even going to try to bluff," Eichhorn said, checking behind. Hellmuth showed Q♣7♠5♠4♣2♦, while Eichhorn had 7♣5♣5♥4♥2♣. Hellmuth took half the pot with his queen-low, while they had the same three-card Badugi and chopped the other half.

"In a cash game I would take two, but in a tournament only one," Hellmuth said after the hand.
