Brant Hale limped first to act, Yarron Bendor limped the cutoff, and Shaun Deeb completed the small blind. In the big blind, Daniel Negreanu potted to 1,500 and only Hale and Bendor called.
Action was picked back up on the river to a completed board of K♦7♦5♠4♠3♠ with around 13,000 in the middle. Negreanu bet 5,300 effective and Bendor called off his stack.
Negreanu tabled A♠9♥3♣2♠2♣ for an unbeatable steel wheel as he took out his vlogging equipment to capture the moment. Bendor could only laugh as he mucked on his way to the rebuy desk.
Life Outside Poker is a podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the 25th episode, Connor speaks with embattled poker pro Brad Booth about learning poker from his grandfather, climbing up stakes in Canada, living at the Bellagio and playing in Bobby's Room, bluffing Phil Ivey and getting cheated on Ultimate Bet.
Booth, who the poker community hasn't heard from for several years, opened up about his absence and going missing in 2020, as well as his gambling addiction and various poker debts to players like Doug Polk that he says he plans to make right.
"I got caught up in all of it and all I can try and do is make right now," he told PokerNews of his poker debts.
Action was picked up on fourth street in hand between Adam Owen, Andrew Park, Seth Krasne, and Mark Provenzano, who was the bring in.
Adam Owen: 10♦7♦7♣ / 9♦A♠2♦A♥
Andrew Park: Q♠8♣3♣ / 7♥5♥9♠7♠
Seth Krasne: 10♥6♠3♦ / 10♠9♣8♠A♣
Mark Provenzano: XxXx / 2♣5♣J♦K♣ - folded on sixth street
Park led on fourth and everyone called. Fifth street checked through.
Owen bet on sixth and only Park and Krasne called.
On seventh, Owen led again. Park contemplated for almost a minute before he called, and Krasne quickly called.
Owen had the high with aces and sevens whereas Krasne had the better low with nine-eight-six against the nine-eight-seven of Park.
