"What an Idiot I Am"; Barbero Rues His Fold as Wirjo Takes Out Funkhouser

Level 9

Pot-Limit Omaha

Jonathan Wirjo, Nacho Barbero, and David Funkhouser saw a flop of A74 where Wirjo moved all in from the cutoff, having his two opponents well covered.

Funkhouser quickly called for 7,500 on the button as action went on Barbero in the big blind. He tanked for several minutes but eventually threw his cards into the muck.

David Funkhouser: KJ76 All in
Jonathan Wirjo: AK75

Wirjo was ahead with top two pair, while Funkhouser had a pair and flush draw. The turn was the 6, while the 10 fell on the river to send Funkhouser to the rail.

Barbero leaned back in his seat with his arms on his head as the pot was pushed to Wirjo. "Wow, what an idiot I am," he lamented.
