Rafael Port raised to 2,100,000 from under the gun and instantly called all-in when Yansong Kou pushed out of the big blind.

Yansong Kou: QQ

The QJ7 flop already vaulted Kou into the lead with her set of queens and she further improved to a flush with the 10 turn and 5 river. Port bowed out in 18th place for $20,160 and with a bad beat story to tell.

And if you were hoping for July 4th fireworks, look no further, because PokerNews reporter Stewart Morrison caught what might be one of the worst bad beats you'll see in this or any Main Event.

Giuseppe Zarbo moved all in from early position, and Jonathan Stoeber made the call on the button. Action folded to Jeffrey Brin in the big blind, who shipped it in as well. Stoeber called the shove, setting up a three-way all-in with two players at risk of elimination.

Jeffrey Brin: 88All in
Giuseppe Zarbo: QQAll in
Jonathan Stoeber: KK

Stoeber had the lead with kings and a real shot to bust two players. The 5104A board kept him in control, until the Q landed on the river, giving Zarbo a set and a nearly full triple-up, and Brin was eliminated.

The chips went into the middle preflop and Rob Wazwaz had the best of it against current chip leader Wai Kit Lo for his last 12 big blinds.

Wai Kit Lo: A9

Lo asked for a nine and received two of them on the 1099 flop. The 2 turn left Wazwaz drawing dead to the 5 river.

"I ran really good in this tournament, I can't complain," Wazwaz exclaimed before leaving the tournament area.

Double-Up for Rothman

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Giuseppe Zarbo kicked off the action with an under-the-gun raise to 3,000,000. Tanith Rothman was sitting right next to him and then went all in for 4,800,000. Action folded around back to Zarbo, who snap-called.

Tanith Rothman: 77 All in
Giuseppe Zarbo: A10

Rothman was hoping for her sevens to hold. The board ran out 48J29 with no overpair for Zarbo, and Rothman secured a much-needed double-up.
