An Early Day for Lim
Level 23
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Action was picked up with Nicolas Schnoz calling Christian Lim's all-in for around 600,000 from the big blind, putting himself at risk.
Nicolas Schnoz: 6♠6♥
Christian Lim: A♣4♣
The flop came 9♠10♣7♦ making Schnoz a favorite with additional outs to improve. Lim needed an ace to drop to shift the advantage to his favor, but the runout went 4♦8♥ securing Schnoz's double up.
In the following hand, with only 70,000 left, Lim open-shoved from the small blind and got called by the big blind, Fabio Muhr.
Christian Lim: A♥6♠
Fabio Muhr: K♠8♣
Lim was in the lead this time, but the board ran 3♥10♠7♣J♠K♣ giving Muhr a pair on the river. Hardly warming up his seat, Lim left the tournament for an early day.
