Calamusa Wins and Gives Back

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

After the hijack opened to 600 and the button three-bet to 2,000, Pierre Calamusa on the button four-bet to 5,000 and got both of his opponents to fold.

On the next hand, Calamusa opened to 500 from the cutoff, and Catherine Brent Griffin defended from the big blind. Calamusa continued for 400 on 9K3, then Griffin raised to 1,000.

Calamusa called and called again after Griffin bet 1,100 on the A turn. Griffin checked the 5 turn, so Calamusa bet 5,300 and got her to fold.

Calamusa then opened to 600 from the hijack and was called by Troy Quenneville, in the cutoff, and by the big blind.

On a flop of 692, Calamusa bet 600 and Quenneville was the only one to call. Calamusa checked the J turn, but folded to Quenneville's bet of 5,700.
