Richardson Puts Cape On
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
With about 8,000 in the pot, hijack Paul Richardson checked the Q♥9♣4♥2♥ turn over to Franklin Yao. Yao bet 4,500, which Richardson called after some debate.
Richardson also checked the 6♠ river, after which Yao flicked in a single T-25,000 chips for an over-bet.
Richardson took a few minutes to puzzle the hand together, eventually tossing in a call.
"Good call," Yao said as he showed 8♣5♣ for pure air. Richardson had called with 9♠7♠, second pair, and he raked in the pot as he neared a six-figure stack.
