Councell Calls With Kings
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Lucas Aleandri from the hijack and Robert Councell in the cutoff each put in 5,000 preflop, but the action slowed after the flop hit 6♠J♥8♦.
They each checked on the flop and the turn of 10♥.
When the 8♣ landed on the river, Aleandri led out with a bet of 17,000. Councell considered the call for some time before making it.
He turned over K♣K♦ to win a nice-sized pot.
