Shen Flips the Script on the River
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Yin Shen opened the action with a raise to 900 from early position, picking up a call from Philip Capron in middle position. Mark Davidoff then three-bet to 3,500 from the hijack, and both Shen and Capron came along.
The flop came 4♠4♣8♦, and after a check from both opponents, Davidoff continued for 4,000. Shen was the only caller, taking the hand to the 8♠ turn, where both players checked.
On the 10♠ river, Shen flipped the script and led out for 5,000. Davidoff didn’t waste much time before mucking his hand, and Shen collected the pot.
