Polk Takes Four-way Pot
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Four players — Gabriel Gutierrez, Andrea Salamone, Vladimir Nex and Doug Polk — were in for 4,200 thanks to a preflop three-bet.
The flop hit 5♠Q♦8♥. Gutierrez checked in the big blind, and so did Salamone under the gun. Nex bet 4,100 from middle position. Polk called from the button.
The turn brought the 10♠. Nex checked and Polk went all in.
It didn't take Nex long to let go of his hand.
Later, Polk said he didn't realize the pot was three-bet preflop.
"We brought our A-game today," he joked.
