Tsonev's Sixes Good at Showdown
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Fernando Rodriguez opened from the hijack and picked up two callers in Simeon Tsonev on the button & Leon Sturm in the big blind.
They went to a flop of K♣5♠4♥, where the action checked to Tsonev, who fired 3,100. Sturm called and Rodiguez folded.
Both then checked to showdown on the Q♦Q♥ runout, and Sturm flipped over 8♦5♥ for a pair of fives. Tsonev had that beat with 6♥6♣ for a pair of sixes, which meant his stack grew to around 165,000.
