Sternheimer's Shove Leaves Vierling Short
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Philip Sternheimer raised to 2,300 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 10,000 by Jessica Vierling in the big blind. Sternheimer called.
The flop came K♥6♦9♥ and Sternheimer called a 5,500 bet from Vierling.
The 4♣ fell on the turn and Vierling announced a bet of 10,000. Sternheimer weighed his options and then shoved, which was enough to put Vierling all in for her last 20,000.
Vierling laid her hand down and Sternheimer showed 7♦7♥ before collecting the pot.
