Both players checked and the 6♠ landed on the river. Jawad dropped in a bet of 12,000 and Gordon mulled it over for a couple of minutes before making the call. Jawad tabled A♥8♦ for just a pair of eights and Gordon showed K♥Q♥ for top pair to earn the pot.
