Slowplay Gone Wrong for Rocco Against Yaroshevskyy

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Anthony Bakri opened to 2,500 from under the gun and was called by Lucas Cortijo two to his left, Michael Rocco from middle position, and Igor Yaroshevskyy in the big blind.

The 754 flop checked through to the 7 turn which saw Yaroshevskyy lead for 7,000. Bakri and Cortijo quickly folded before Rocco put in the call after a small tank.

The 8 river then checked through as Yaroshevskyy tabled 86 for the flopped straight. Rocco revealed that he had KK as his slowplay cost him the pot and Yaroshevskyy was the one to collect.
