Scalfaro Fills Up and Gets Paid

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jacob Haller opened to 4,500 from early position and Andrew Yurchak called in middle position. Daniel Scalfaro, fresh off his victory in the $250 Daily Deepstack late last night for over $20,000, called in the cutoff, as did Charles Russell in the big blind.

The 1074 flop checked through to the 8 turn which saw Russell lead for 4,000 from the big blind. Haller folded and Yurchak called before Scalfaro raised to 12,000. Russell then three-bet the turn to 30,000, Yurchak folded, and Scalfaro called.

Russell then checked on the 8 river before Scalfaro put out a sizeable bet of 60,000, sending Russell into the tank.

"I don't know if I can fold this one," Russell lamented before he eventually tossed in a chip to call. He got the bad news as Scalfaro tabled 87 for a rivered full house which was good to drag a massive pot as Scalfaro's rungood continues.
