Aragon Doubles in the Last Moment

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

James Girouard raised to 4,000 in the hijack. Adin Aragon and Christian Calcano called in the blinds, after which a K310 flop was dealt. It checked to Girouard, who bet 6,000. Aragon and Calcano both called, revealing the A turn, which checked through.

The 8 fell on the river. It checked to Girouard once more, who bet 20,000. Aragon quickly moved in for 37,000, and Calcano mucked his cards.

Girouard entered a long tank, but eventually called his AJ for top pair. Aragon tabled QJ for the nut straight, however, and doubled up during the final hands of Day 2d.
