Lapka’s Aces Hold Against Rawtani

With around 42,000 in the pot and the board showing 102QK, Nitesh Rawtani checked it over to Justin Lapka, who tossed out a bet of 15,000. Rawtani made the call, taking them to the river.

The 8 completed the board, and Rawtani checked once more. Lapka took his time before deciding to check back, bringing the hand to a showdown.

Rawtani revealed QJ for a pair of queens and a missed straight draw, but Lapka turned over AA for the overpair, good enough to take the pot. Rawtani was left with less than a starting stack as Lapka dragged in the chips.
