Silent Night for Holley After Frozen Tank
Level 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Christopher Hermens had opened to 9,000 from middle position and was faced with a hefty three-bet of 50,000 from John Holley in the big blind.
Hermens then four-bet shoved for just over 290,000, and Holley was in the tank for quite some time. So long in fact that one of the table called the clock.
"Come on, man. This is a big spot," said Holley.
"It's been a while," replied his tablemate.
The floor came over and Holley was given a 30-second countdown. The seconds ticked away and Holley didn't make any action by the time the clock hit zero, which meant his hand was declared dead and Hermens was pushed the pot.
