Perati Picks Off Pateychuk in Prodigious Pot

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Muhamet Perati raised to 25,000 on the button and Andrey Pateychuk defended from the big blind. The flop came Q76 and Pateychuk check-called a bet of 20,000 from Perati.

The turn brought the 8 and Pateychuk checked again. Perati counted out a bet of 65,000 and Pateychuk check-raised to 220,000. Perati called and they were off to the K on the river.

Pateychuk announced all in as the big stack and Perati had a decision to make for his stack of 767,000. He thought for well over two minutes before sticking in some chips to call. Pateychuk rolled over 97 for a pair with a missed straight and flush draw while Perati claimed the pot with QQ for a set of queens.
