Wilson Overbets the River
Level 22
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
The action folded to Rohit Mariwalla in the small blind who just limped in. Andy Wilson checked his big blind and the flop came Q♠J♥2♦. Both players checked and the 9♣ landed on the turn.
Mariwalla checked again and Wilson flicked in a bet of 50,000. Mariwalla called and the 3♥ completed the board. Mariwalla checked once more and Wilson counted out a large bet of 350,000.
Mariwalla asked for three minutes to think and he nearly used all of it before making the call. Wilson turned over 10♥8♣ for a straight and Mariwalla paid him off.
