Sturm Steals the Pot on the River

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Leon Sturm raised to 170,000 in early position with K10 and was called by Will Kassouf in middle position with QJ. Hieu Le came along with Q10 in the hijack along with Ruben Costa in the big blind with 65.

The dealer fanned the flop of AQ4 and Sturm continued with a bet of 155,000. Kassouf and Le called while Costa threw away his rags. The A rolled off on the turn which slowed down the action.

"Now we have a situation," Kassouf said as Sturm started with a check. The action checked around and the 6 completed the board.

Sturm fired out a bet of 685,000 on the river with just king-high after missing his straight and flush draws. Kassouf went into the tank for nearly four minutes before the clock was called and he eventually laid his hand down. Le also folded and Sturm got away with some highway robbery.
